Flies breed year round; however, their numbers increase during late spring through early summer.  Flies tend to bite the tips of dog’s and cat’s ears causing pain, itching and hair loss. 

One of our SPSN volunteers recommends a product called Flys-Off.  Simply spray the pet’s ears carefully not getting in their eyes or mouth.  Flys-Off can also be used on coat for full body protection from mosquitoes and gnats too!
