Kitten Season is Here!

Kitten season is here, and the shelter is being overwhelmed with underweight tiny kittens. These kittens take up scarce resources from the foster community, and by this time of year, there is little capacity left to take on more kittens.  If you have kittens under two pounds, please take care of them until they get to that weight if you want them to have a good chance at adoption.   The shelter can often help you with bottle feeding supplies.

After the kittens are at adoption weight, take mama cat to be spayed!  If you have trouble affording this, please contact us at Shelter Pet Safety Net – we have a program to help you pay for this and avoid more unwanted kittens.
