One of the things we have created for the Bastrop County Animal Shelter is a Volunteer Recognition Program.  

The shelter wanted a way to recognize and/or reward outstanding volunteers, and alas had no budget for it.  We want to encourage people to volunteer (for us OR the shelter) so we created a recommendation program. You can find it on our website here.

It could not be easier…just tell us your contact info, the volunteer’s contact info, and why you are recommending them for recognition.
