Can you help?
We need volunteers who are comfortable using social media and talking with the public. Project managers, fundraisers, and writers too! You don’t need to go to the animal shelter to volunteer with us, and some jobs can be done from home. Check out our list of volunteer roles and our volunteer handbook.
If you want to work directly with animals at the county shelter (e.g. dog walking, fostering, cleaning), you need to apply as a volunteer with the county. The county has different volunteer requirements than SPSN. Many of our volunteers are also county shelter volunteers.
